Trust
Invited memory,
not captured memory.
A memory you can trust has to be honest about itself. Here is exactly how wamid treats what you give it — and what it will never do.
- 01
You choose what enters.
wamid only holds what you deliberately set down. It never watches your screen, never records in the background, never captures your day to be safe. If you didn't invite it, it isn't there.
- 02
It stays yours.
Local-first: your memory lives on your device. Export all of it, or delete all of it, in one move, whenever you want. No lock-in, no hostage-taking.
- 03
Private by default.
Nothing leaves your device unless you turn on sync. When you do, it travels encrypted — for your backup and your other devices, not for us to read.
- 04
Intelligence that serves, not surveils.
wamid's intelligence works only on what you invited, to bring the right thing back at the right moment. It doesn't build a profile of you, and there is nothing to sell.
- 05
Honesty over absolutes.
We won't promise “100% private” as a slogan. We'll tell you plainly what data exists, where it lives, and when anything moves. If that ever changes, you'll know first.
Honesty over absolutes
What leaves your device, and why.
Most of wamid stays on your device. When some intelligence needs the cloud to serve you, here is exactly what travels — and what does not.
-
Your device
Your Traces, your notes, your reminders. They live here, encrypted at rest.
-
Goes out only when you ask
Only the small question Wisp needs to answer — never your full memory, never a profile.
-
Comes back as the right Trace, at the right moment
What wamid will never do
- Record or read your screen.
- Capture what you didn't choose.
- Sell or share your memory.
- Lock your data so you can't leave.
